Community Food & Prayer Nights 
On the 4th Thursday of each month 5-7:30pm, teams of volunteers gather at two locations: Penasquitos Lutheran Church 14484 Penasquitos Drive, San Diego CA 92129 and The Connection Church 14047 Twin Peaks Road Poway 92064 to distribute food and provide care for local families in need.  Through strong relationships with local police, apartment managers, and schools, families are identified who need food and support. Groceries are bagged and distributed as well as other community services and resources.  By 7:30, all is wrapping up and you can rest assured that you have made a huge impact in the lives of your local neighbors in need.  This is a great activity for families to participate in together.  Please contact Shell Cowper-Smith at psalm18@cox.net to get involved and visit http://communityfoodandprayer.wordpress.com
