With the vision of making a powerful impact on hunger in Tanzania, FFCC has partnered with Outreach Africa to assist the government and community leaders in Singida to help build and maintain feeding centers, while promoting education of the children and teaching the community to self-sustain itself in the future. Expansion of this model is anticipated across the country, with efforts currently underway in Mayoni, Tanzania.

Manyoni Children's Feeding Center
In January of 2008 FFCC helped design and build and Children’s FeedingCenter in Singida Town, Tanzania. The success of the building and program has been phenomenal. The Center is feeding nearly 1,000 homeless children each day, the government is providing uniforms and school supplies, and 100% of all the children eating daily at the Center are all going to school. As a result, the Governor of the Singida Region has requested FFCC to consider building another Children’s Center in the town of Manyoni with twice the number of homeless children. They have provided free use of the land.
How can you help? FFCC is currently working out the specifics of the design and mutual contributions. It is FFCC’s plan to break ground on this new Center in January of 2010.Your contribution of $100 will help us reach our goal of $60,000 required for the completion of this Center that will provide food for 2,000 children per day by July of 2010.
