FFCC is partnering with Tanzania Regional Commissioner Kone and Outreach Africa to provide a hospital in the Singida Region of Tanzania. This 1,000 bed hospital will provide medical care and treatment in a population of millions with no medical access. A U.S. hospital in Des Moines, Iowa has closed and donated all their hospital equipment to this effort in Tanzania. Items like x-ray machines, operating room lights, beds with mattresses, anesthesia machines, exam tables, recovery beds, sterilizers, blanket warmers, desks, file cabinets and many other items.
How can you help? FFCC needs your help in raising funds to ship the equipment to Tanzania at the cost of $45,000 or $11,250 per container. If you would like to donate funds to cover shipping costs, would like to invest in the construction, or would like to donate time and help in the building of this new regional hospital, contact Phil Harris at philffcc@san.rr.com.

FFCC and Outreach Africa have hired a Doctor to provide medical treatment, inoculations, and baby check ups to the remote places within the Singida region - where no medical resources are available. Dr. Naomi, travels from village to village through the use of a “porta-doc” vehicle that carries all of her medical supplies and temperature sensitive medicines to these remote places.
How can you help? You can help assist in this ongoing support by a financial donation of $50.00 a month to help cover her salary and the purchasing of medical supplies. You can also help by donating over the counter medicines, anti-fungal creams, iodine, rubbing alcohol, vitamins, anti worm medication, etc. If you have contacts in the medical field that could donate large amounts of medical supplies please contact Phil Harris at philffcc@san.rr.com.
