  Katrina Disaster Aid
In the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, volunteers from FFCC made multiple trips to Biloxi, Mississippi to clean up debris, rebuild homes, and provide care and love to individuals and families affected by the disaster. Since November of 2005, FFCC has made six trips to Biloxi and rebuilt 20 homes.

A reporter from the San Diego Union traveled with the FFCC crew in December of 2005 and chronicled the adventure at The San Diego Union Tribune.

  San Diego Fire Relief
After the destruction caused by the Cedar and Witch fires in San Diego County, FFCC volunteers, working with international relief organizations, set to work helping families recover from the disaster by providing debris clearing, brush management, downing of trees, home re-construction, and donation of household needs to replace the tremendous losses many families suffered. FFCC volunteers continued this relief effort throughout 2008 and are ready to respond to further needs of our community.
