"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

In 2016, FFCC provided food assistance to the Glover family in Poway. Over these past months, FFCC has become better acquainted with the family. Recently, they asked if FFCC could help them repair some flooring issues in their mobile home. After inspecting the damaged areas, it is clear that due to the age of the double-wide trailer all the flooring and subflooring needs to be removed and replaced. The video above shows a first-hand look at the extent of the damage.

The repair plan is shown in 2 Phases. Phase 1 lists the critical repairs needed to make the home safe. Phase 2 are additional construction costs that would help make the home more livable.

PHASE 1

A.) Building Permits

B.) Remove and replace flooring and sub-flooring

C.) Remove and replace insulation and carriage barrier

Estimated cost $6,000.00

PHASE 2

A.) Build additional bedroom in bedroom

B.) Install outside skirting

C.) Exterior paint

Estimated cost $7,300.00
