Travel to Kenya & Tanzania with FFCC

FFCC travels to Kenya and Tanzania Africa twice a year, once in late January/early February and again in mid-June. We have been taking teams to Tanzania since May 2007. The trips are typically two-three weeks long depending on flight cost & availability. The trip cost will range from $4,500 - $5,000. The summer trip is more expensive due to higher air fare. Tanzania is a popular tourist destination due to the spectacular safari parks and Mount Kilimanjaro is also a popular destination for its climbing expeditions.

The Cost of the trip includes:

    • Air fare
    • Lodging
    • Meals
    • Transportation
    • Supplemental medical insurance policy
    • Work permit fee
    • Special project fee

Cost does not include:

    • Passport application or renewal fee, if applies
    • Necessary immunizations & prescription costs (i.e. malaria prophylaxis & antibiotic)
    • Souvenirs/spending money
    • Airport meals

The objective of our trips to Tanzania is to provide accountability for the distribution of our Fight Against Hunger meals as well as continuing to move forward our work in the country with water filtration, support of education, medical care and solar power.

The process required to travel with FFCC is as follows:

    • Must be at least 15 years of age
    • Complete FFCC Trip Application
    • Submit a copy of your valid passport (passports must be valid for 6 months after the return

date of the trip)

    • Submit a $500 non-refundable deposit toward trip cost

The trip application will be reviewed and you will be notified with-in a couple of days of submitting the application as to whether you are approved or if we have any questions or concerns. Once you are confirmed, we will work to secure a plane ticket.

The team meetings are mandatory and the dates will be given out in advance so you can plan accordingly.
